Flouch via Langsett Reservoir, Midhope Reservoir and Edge Cliff

This was a very, very gray day. Low cloud, thick mist, gloomy and humid, it was difficult to tell what the weather would do. Originally we planned to explore Hordron Bank and Wicken Hill, but due to the weather, decided to stay on lower ground. Eventually we decided to walk around Langsett and Midhope Reservoirs. Rain drops were beginning to fall by the time we reached Upper Midhope and Shaw Lane, as we reached Gill Royd Lane the waterproofs were out and the cameras tucked away. By the time we returned to the Flouch car park we were well and truly soaked. Nonetheless it was an interesting walk, just a pity Yorkshire Water have not opened up more of the woodland at Spring Moor along the southern bank of Midhope Reservoir as they have done at Langsett.
