Rebecques

In order to be in Calais for the 11:00am ferry we decided to move north from Avallon and camp within an hours drive of Calais. Late in the afternoon, after a rather tedious journey and with the skies looking rather threatening we found a municipal campsite just off the A26 motorway at Rebecques.
Within minutes of pitching the tent it started to rain... and rain... and rain... non-stop for 18 hours! Still we muddled (pun intended) through and made the best of the poor weather.
Considering we pitched the tent late Saturday afternoon, it wasn't until late Sunday evening that I was finally able to take advantage of a break in the bad weather, wander around the lakes and take some photographs.
