Description 

Perched on a rocky promontory over looking the River L'Indrois, Château de Montrésor dominates the village, while the ruins of the earlier building creates a romantic almost theatrical atmosphere.

Notes 

The medieval village of Montrésor is often described as France's most beautiful village. Since I have visited many beautiful French villages I won't pass judgement, suffice to say it is indeed very beautiful.
